Ted Hart, ACFRE, CDE®, CDP®, CAP®
is an internationally recognized nonprofit and philanthropy expert with over 35 years of experience. He has extensive knowledge in regulatory frameworks governing domestic and global grantmaking and risk management. As President and CEO of CAF America, he transformed the organization into a premier donor-advised fund (DAF) sponsor that now provides full-service domestic and international grantmaking intermediary services. Under his leadership, CAF America distributes over USD 833 million per year from the United States, UK, and Canada to over 135 nations worldwide. Total grants have surpassed USD 4 billion.
Ted is a skilled spokesperson and thought leader focused on building mission-oriented, financially sustainable entities, forming exceptional teams, and establishing successful partnerships with third-party for-profit and nonprofit organizations.
Ted's credentials include a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) degree and professional certifications as an Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE), a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®), a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®), a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP®), and ISO 27001 certification in information security management.
